Featuring:

Fr. Brian Pierce, OP

Event Date:

November 3, 2011 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Location:

Sansbury Hall, Colonial Room

Fr. Brian Pierce OP is the international Promoter of the Nuns for the Order of Preachers, a ministry that takes him to monasteries all over the world, helping the nuns to build their minds, their prayer, and their communities. Fr. Brian has also studied prayer interreligiously, and wrote the book "We Walk the Path Together: Learning from Thich Nhat Hanh and Meister Eckhart" out of his experience of talking and praying with Buddhist friends and of spending time in Thich Nhat Hanh's "Plum Villiage" Buddhist meditation center in France.

Fr. Brian is a very popular lecturer and preacher and has a great way of relating his own rich experience of life and prayer with the daily concerns of others in an eloquent and self-effacing way. Come ready to ask your own questions about a deeper prayer life, or just come and be open and you will leave with much to ponder.
